CLT Engagement & FAQ

Certified Leadership Trainer

Full and timely attendance is mandatory at all program sessions and on all days of the CLT Program. Please check that you can commit yourself to PUNCTUALITY & AVAILABILITY. These two are important qualities that will help you succeed and thrive as a GEMSTONE Certified Leadership Trainer.
We will be using the ZOOM platform for the program. You will receive the link to the first session after you agree to the terms of this document. For access to subsequent days, we will share a new link with you at the end of each daily session. Please download the ZOOM software to a computer or mobile device in advance, so that the entire features may be used.
Please prepare a workspace in your home that will allow you to fully engage without distraction. Do your best to stay away from background noise, you may wish to use AirPods, earphones, or headphones. Remember to have your devices plugged into a power source, and that you have good internet reception/Wi-Fi signal.
Please note that receiving your certification as a GEMSTONE Certified Leadership Trainer will be based on completing the entire program. This includes the 4-Day Masterclass and the CLT Project.
We know your time is valuable and we want you to make the most of your participation in the program. So we encourage you to do what preparation you need to do so you can be fully present and enjoy the fullness of this opportunity.

Who is charged with finding the crowd to be trained towards reaching the 500 target?

The trainer is charged with sourcing for their 500 target.

Who should create the proposal to be sent to concerned public service bodies?

The trainer would be responsible for creating proposals.

Who sends out the proposal and follows up until they're approved?

The trainer would be responsible for sending out proposals and following up until they're approved.

What about places where there are no power supply or projectors to use slides?

The trainer could have the materials printed out to use as option B.

Since Train-The-Trainer is virtual, can the trainers equally adopt online training too?

No, the event has to be physical.

Will there be physical manuals for the trainings?

Materials given can be printed by the trainer if that's what is convenient to use.

Who caters for the venue of the trainings?

The trainer is to cater for the venue.

Are there costs to be borne by the trainers at all?

The trainer will bear the cost of transporting themselves to the place of training.

Is the trainer training on his or her behalf or on behalf of GNBF?

Each trainer is training on their own behalf but in conjunction with GNBF.

Would the public service people trained be given any certificate?

No, there would not be certificate given to the people trained by the trainer.
